I have noticed there has been a significant drop off in my posts as of late. Thank you busy season #3! I am horribly afraid of having a month without posts because when I look back on these posts, I don't ever want to wonder what on earth I was doing during the month of April 2011. How would I ever win my own personal game of Jeopardy if that were the case?!
Unfortunately, when I look back on April 2011 there isn't a lot of actual activity or notable things to reminisce on. All activities I've been privvy to have happened in an audit room, around what we've discovered today is a 13 foot long table, surrounded by anywhere from 6-9 of my fabulous colleagues As I'm sure you can imagine that kind of limits the excitement.
As an alternative, I'll document some random facts/thoughts so that the time capsule for April 2011 remains in tact. I'm sure that my future self will find my thoughts and anecdotes completely mind-blowing. Conveniently, this also serves as a reminder to my beloved friends & family that I am indeed still alive. :c)

My Stream of Conciousness for April 2011:
- Is there any problem in the world that a little Michael Buble or Frank Sinatra won't solve? I feel pretty confident that there isn't. When I finish busy season I'll make a mix tape (old school style) for Gaddafi.
- Pandora allows you to listen for free up to 40 hours a month. It's $0.99 to listen unlimited for the remainder of the month. I only listen at work and typically just in the afternoon/evening. I paid my $0.99 on April 9th this month.
- Is there an age at which it is no longer appropriate to eat animal crackers at work? I'm 28 and I'm not there yet.
- I found out my car is paid off as of April 21st, a fact I'd completely forgotten until they called to tell me. That was a happy surprise. It's hard to say whether Crate & Barrel or I is more excited about that. (JK Ryan)
- Seriously America- you voted off Pia? This confirms for me that I live in a crazy, crazy world.
- An ironic anecdote: The other day while visiting the house I discovered a large spider, also referred to as a big daddy long legs, on the ceiling in the master bath. Obviously, pest removal is not my forte. In my 28 years, my screaming tactics have yet to actually coerce any pest out of my home. I alerted Ryan immediately. He informed me that it should be "easy" to "wrangle" this creature as they "share a name." The spider must not have taken kindly to Ryan wanting to use his name as his stripping alter ego because he certainly had no interest in climbing onto the sherwin williams paint stick Ryan tried to coax him on to.
- I can not wait to get a puppy.
- Oh yeah, and I can't wait to get married.
- This month the A&M women's basketball team won the National Championship. In a related story I learned that my fiance owns at least one of every essential clothing item in maroon and is not afraid to shot gun a beer alone by himself while wearing all of them. At one time. On a week night.
- Our neighbors just put their house up for sale. If you are in need of an awesome red brick, 2 story abode with a pretty porch, pool and the world's greatest neighbors, let a sister know. Don't ask Ryan to wrangle your spiders though.
- This month I discovered Swedish Fish. Kinda wish that had never happened.
