You might, once again, be wondering why we are skipping ahead months. Although many of you may already know, for those of you who do not- this November Ryan and I will be pulling one more tiny chair up to the table for Thanksgiving. The Martin family is expanding by one! (In laymen's terms: there's once again a bun in my oven.)
Ryan and I, as well as our incredible families, are over the moon to be blessed with another tiny miracle. I know the struggle that building a family is for many and we do not take the fact that we have been granted this gift a second time lightly. Being a parent has truly been the greatest joy I've known and I can't wait to experience it a second time. Well, I can wait until November. Preferably well in advance of Thanksgiving or a comfortable margin after. You hear that, little one?! Happy Mama, no drama. Remember that.
Emery, of course, doesn't really fully understand the concept but I am sure that at the ripe age of 20 months she'll have plenty of life knowledge she's ready to pass on. Plus we got her a baby for Easter and I'm happy to announce that nearly 2 months later this baby no longer is confined to living in a bucket. Baby (affectionately named Bucket) now gets toted everywhere with her. We are hoping she doesn't feed this baby a bottle in his/her eye as often as Bucket but we'll take what we can get.
Why am I revealing this news today when I don't have time to fully catch you up on all the exciting details of this pregnancy? Because tomorrow we find out if the newest Martin is a boy or a girl! I'm sure I'll be too excited and will post a picture on a Facebook then. So it only seemed appropriate to share the news that Mama's got a brand new
I sincerely look forward to catching you up on life happenings once I reach a lull in living them. In the meantime, the most sincerest thank you for everyone's love, support and well wishes thus far. We truly are the most fortunate people on the planet to have the support network we do and we couldn't do it without you! I hope you have as wonderful of a day as you make ours.
Looking a little reserved about sharing that chair.
Little mama showing me how it's done.
